DevSecOps Engineer
Work Location: Washington DC, metro area 

Required: US Citizen

Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps or related roles with a strong focus on cloud security.
• Proficiency in AWS with experience in designing and managing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for developing and managing cloud resources.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, including integrating security checks into pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of security best practices and frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO/IEC 27001).
• Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating security tasks.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Requirements

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with GCP and Azure cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP.
• Experience in implementing and managing Zero Trust architectures.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
