Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Systems Administrator to work 100% remote. The candidate must have an active secret clearance.

 

As a User ID & Password Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing user authentication, access control, and identity management within Department of Defense (DoD) IT systems. This role ensures compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, oversees account provisioning, and provides technical support for user access issues. The administrator will collaborate with regional IT teams, security personnel, and end-users to maintain secure and efficient authentication processes across classified and unclassified networks. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage identity and access control solutions in a high-security environment.

 

Key Duties:

 

  • Manage and maintain currently supported and subsequent Microsoft (MS) Windows Server Operating Systems (OS) in both physical and virtual environments.
  • Provide support for Active Directory (AD) accounts, groups, network storage, servers, and Exchange accounts.
  • Create, modify, delete, transfer, and maintain user accounts utilizing the Secure UserID & Password System.
  • Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to provide 24/7/365 support with a one-hour response time.
  • Authorize emergency access for support personnel responding to incidents affecting disabled districts' IT assets.
  • Provision access to 1,550+ supported applications used by USACE (United States Army Corps of Engineers).
  • Assist users with access, account, and password-related issues.
  • Perform data gathering and generate reports for user authentication and system access.
  • Ensure compliance with performance metrics and security standards.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have an active secret clearance.
  • BA/BS and 1-3 years of relevant work experience or in lieu of degree the candidate must have 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Current DoD 8570 IA Baseline Certification, IAT Level I or Level II (examples: A+ CE, Network+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security+ certifications)
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating system

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
