We’re currently hiring a Director, Cyber Operations to work in the Planning Branch as part of our team helping to secure and protect the Nation’s critical infrastructure.
This role will work out of the client site in Arlington, VA with some hybrid flexibility.
What you will do:
Apply knowledge of cyber threat landscape, emerging threats, geopolitical events and trends
Assess threat and vulnerability information shared by partners.
Reviewed information from multiple sources; classified, OSINT, incident response, etc. and create actionable intelligence to support customer base
Dynamic leader, able to function as a senior member of the team, mentoring junior analysts and developing their critical thinking and analytic skills or function as a stand-alone SME providing in depth support to a specific effort
Create solutions to complex problems based on information gathered from a multitude of resources, aligning them with national level strategies and best practices from the community of interest
Conduct analysis of competing priorities and make recommendations that will shape future planning efforts of the client
Provide recommendations based on experience and research to decision makers that are timely and effective
Determine validity and impact of threat information, provide analysis, and collaborate to determine necessary partner notifications and potential product development.
What you will need:
U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for position)
High level government security clearance required
6+ years of events, operations planning, and/or project management experience
What would be good to have:
Master’s degree or 8+ years of experience in lieu of degree
Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills
Ability to apply knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, policies, and procedures
Ability to easily communicate with senior government clients, lead discussions, and confidently discuss project status and propose solutions
High level of critical thinking
Experience in the federal government sector
Experience supporting DHS programs or initiatives
Demonstrated experience in working with clients to develop clear expectations, roles, and requirements for short and long-term projects

Customer service orientation with strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
