Analyst - Cyber Security

The Analyst – Cyber Security is responsible for providing technical and operational support to the Organisation’s cyber security team. This includes monitoring, analysing, responding to threats in a timely manner as well as developing strategies that will help protect our systems from potential attacks or breaches. Primary.

Responsibilities:

• Monitors network traffic using various tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus software etc., identify any suspicious activity and take appropriate action;

• Analyses system logs on regular basis looking out for anomalies which could indicate malicious activities;

• Develops policies and procedures related to information security management including access control measures;

• Researches new technologies and trends in cybersecurity field with an aim of improving existing processes within the company's IT infrastructure;

• Assists other departments by educating them about best practices when it comes to data protection and privacy laws compliance requirements;

• Responds quickly during incidents involving unauthorised use of computer resources or breach attempts into corporate networks while maintaining confidentiality at all times;
