The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Deputy Program Manager supporting the SABRE program at Hanscom AFB, MA. This position is on a future contract pending award announcement.

You'll work closely with leadership to coordinate cross functional teams, manage risk, and ensure performance aligns with the contract objectives. Responsibilities Include:

  •  Provide leadership and foster strong customer relationships to ensure program success.

  • Act as a key conduit between the Government PMO, service providers, and Contractor personnel.

  • Support the management of all Contractor personnel across functional areas and geographic locations.

  • Assist in resource allocation and oversee task execution to meet program objectives and deliverables.

  • Facilitate the integration of processes across all functional areas to ensure smooth program operations.

  • Monitor program performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvements.

  • Identify and mitigate risks in collaboration with the Program Manager.

  • Ensure timely and transparent communication of program status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

  • Support compliance with contract requirements, deliverables, and quality standards.

  • Assist with program budget management and provide financial reporting as required.

  • Lead efforts to implement continuous process improvements to enhance overall program efficiency.

  • Serve as the focal point for Government and Contractor communications in the absence of the Program Manager.

Clearance Required:

  • Active DoD Secret

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • BA and 10 or more years of experience in commercial or Government Program Management within DoD programs. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Experience supporting Program Managers in executing complex IT and cloud-based solutions.

  • Expertise in resource management, risk assessment, and schedule execution for Government contracts.

  • Strong understanding of DoD IT systems, cybersecurity frameworks, and cloud security best practices.

  • Experience leading Agile teams, DevSecOps methodologies, and cloud-based initiatives.

  • Ability to interface with stakeholders, Government leadership, and cross-functional technical teams

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.

  • Experience leading cloud-based, AI/ML, or cyber-focused DoD contracts.

  • Knowledge of USAF Enterprise IT, Zero Trust, and Mission Partner Environment (MPE).

  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.​

Pay Range:

Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
