Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for a Penetration Tester to conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and risk evaluations to ensure the protection of critical systems and infrastructure. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, providing security recommendations, and participating in major cybersecurity exercises.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and/or participate in Red/Blue Team activities during key cybersecurity exercises.
• Conduct penetration testing on web applications, infrastructure, and software.
• Perform security design reviews to ensure compliance with security policies and directives.
• Provide security consulting and risk assessment for projects and operational plans.
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including security accreditation authorities and technical teams.
• Present security reports and penetration test outcomes to executive and technical audiences, including senior leadership.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to improve security practices.

Requirements for the role 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity and penetration testing.
• Expertise in web application and infrastructure penetration testing.
• Strong understanding of network security architecture design and assessment.
• Experience in vulnerability assessment of operating systems, software, protocols, and networks.
• Proficiency in system and network administration for Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools, techniques, and methodologies.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Ruby, or Bash.
• Familiarity with authentication and security protocols, cryptography, and malware defense techniques.
• Ability to evaluate security risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Strong technical writing skills for creating structured reports for both technical and executive.
• Fluent in Portuguese
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal/Belgium
