DevSec Ops Engineer

Description

• Acting as a Software Engineer supporting Cloud platforms
• Working with other developers and engineers to install, configure, integrate and develop SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS services for customers and end users to consume
• Utilizing experience as a CI/CD Developer by trade or Systems Integrator who has a passion for scripting and coding and would like to move into a SW deployment role
• Supporting a large number of services that provide true SaaS and PaaS capabilities to Navy and Marine Corps customers

Requirements

• Network Infrastructure (BigIP F5, VPN, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, SFTP)
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS: EC2, VPC, Lambda, S3, EFS, ECR/ECS, Route53, IAM, RDS, Autoscaling, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, etc.)
• Experience with writing code be it compiled, scripted, or otherwise
• Develop and build IT solutions to meet business needs
• Automate manual operational work by using scripting or DevOps tools
• Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines
• Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability
• Implement security measures that align with industry standards and meet the needs of the organization
• Participate in incident response and troubleshooting efforts as issues arise
• Experience with Configuration management/infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
• CI/CD and application build and deploy (Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Xray, Jira, SonarCube)
• Operating Systems (Linux)
• Scripting languages (Python, Bash)
• Good communication skills, possess the ability to professionally and effectively navigate conflict resolution to resolve issues that arise
• Ability to correlate requirements to specific tasking
• Familiarity with JIRA, User Stories, and updating Jira tickets with the appropriate level of content
• Experience with technical documentation
• Required to be 8570 compliant (Security+) upon starting

Desired Skills

• Preferred (BS degree in Electrical/ Electronic/ Computer /Software Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science from an accredited College or University
• Desire to lead small team of developers/cloud engineers

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL

Travel Requirements

• Quarterly to Charleston or Quantico area for PI Planning
