About the team
Our Technology team is the backbone of the business, building and maintaining the information technology infrastructure that support Coles Group. As a part of the Technology team, you get the opportunity to work through complex, challenging, meaningful problems using large data sets and new technologies to expand your skills and experience.
About the role:
This is a full-time and permanent opportunity as a Security Analyst that is embedded in the Identity and Access Management team. There will be a stronger focus on stakeholder engagement and triaging capabilities across Identity and Access Management and broader Cyber security. Leveraging your experience as a Technical Business Analyst, this position will work closely with the broader IAM and Cyber team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ability to assess and prioritize incoming cyber requests.
- Proactively work with project teams to ensure early cyber involvement.
- Knowledge of risk management methods and their application towards security, identity and access management within a regulated industry.
- Conduct initial assessments to determine cyber engagement levels based on project risk.
- Facilitate discussions between project teams and cyber-SMEs to clarify requirements and expectations.
- Track and report engagement metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Streamline project pipeline, enhancing collaboration, and applying best practices.
- Perform quality control assessments and ensuring that the front door requests are completed with enough detail.
- Assist the engagement lead with project estimations.
- Understanding of various IAM concepts including Authentication, authorisation, PAM, UAR, Identity management, CAP, Governance.
- Works with product managers, IAM architects and management to prioritize projects.
About you and your skills:
You have worked as a Technical Business Analyst within the IAM and/or Cyber domain and will have in your tool kit:
- More than 5 years of experience in a similar Technical Business or Security Analyst role.
- Demonstrated understanding of various IAM concepts.
- Ability to comfortably present to customers, partners and industry experts in various formats and venues.
- Able to work effectively in a changing environment and with ambiguity.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, IAM and project lifecycles.
- Excellent communication both verbally and written.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Formal tertiary qualification is preferred.
