We are currently seeking an experienced and results driven Project Manager to join our team.

In this role you will be responsible for managing a critical cybersecurity program workstream and support the Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) Head of Operations and Planning to manage project related activities related to another key program deliverable.

You will work closely with cross functional teams to coordinate efforts to mitigate risks and drive successful outcomes.

About the Cybersecurity GRC Team

The Governance Risk & Compliance team is an exciting and growing area of cybersecurity which strives to ensure that State Street maintains a strong cybersecurity posture by aligning with regulatory requirements, industry standards and internal risk management frameworks.

As a member of the Cybersecurity GRC Team, you will have a significant opportunity in making a difference within the Cybersecurity organization, as well as across State Street overall.


What you will be responsible for

  • Defining project scope, objectives and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining project plans and timelines to ensure execution in alignment with commitments.
  • Identifying risks, dependencies and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Managing stakeholder communications, providing regular updates on progress, challenges and key decisions
  • Coordinating and leading cross functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and project execution.
  • Driving accountability and ensuring deliverables meet requirements and commitments
  • Supporting change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of project outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in managing projects in Financial Services
  • Proven experience managing projects in a fast paced environment,
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP< Prince2, Agile)
  • Experience using Project Management tools such as Jira, Clarity or Microsoft Project)
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, SAFe) or Change Management (e.g., APMG, PROSCI)
  • Experience in regulated industries such as financial services is a plus

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $177,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
