Who we are looking for

As a technology risk analyst, you will have the opportunity to partner with your ETRM peers, as well as IT teams and business risk managers, to design, implement, and evolve various risk management processes and technical solutions to enable State Street to effectively and efficiently assess, manage, and improve its technology risk posture. The position is based in the Quincy, MA.

What you will be responsible for

As Technology Risk Analyst, Officer you will be responsible for below areas

General Roles and Responsibilities

Operations

  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of various processes and solutions to facilitate technology risk identification, analysis, and management

  • Continuously improve processes and solutions through a regular change management cadence; maintain an inventory of proposed improvements

  • Support the firm’s Technology Risk Acceptance program regarding day-to-day process execution, regular engagement with stakeholders across the firm, program-specific reporting, training/documentation/stakeholder support, engaging with IT teams to address solution issues, participating in solution testing, and supporting solution and/or process improvement activities

  • Support the twice-annual Technology Material Risk Identification (MRI) process with senior IT leadership

  • Support ad-hoc regulatory requests and risk assessment/analysis activities as needed

  • Support ETRM’s engagement with Operational Risk Data Exchange (ORX) for Cyber Security

  • ETRM is a diverse organization with many interconnected activities; accordingly, this role can also provide additional opportunity to the candidate based on career interest and skill set, including Power BI / data visualization, technical risk assessments, risk metric design, and/or business systems analysis (requirements gathering, solution design, etc.)

Communication, Education, Training

  • Establish and maintain relationships with all business stakeholders and technical teams

  • Provide training and on-going support to business stakeholders

  • Prepare and maintain process documentation, data libraries, and training materials

  • Develop an expertise around Archer Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and various other IT tools and systems

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in the financial, consulting or technology industries

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in IT or related major

  • Demonstrable experience in supporting high-visibility, high-impact projects and processes

  • Background in IT, project management, process ownership, and risk management

  • Exceptional organizational skills, communication skills, presentation skills, self-starter mentality, customer service, analytical reasoning, writing proficiency, and attention to detail required

  • Ability to multitask and navigate competing priorities

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel required

  • Experience with Archer GRC, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Power BI software is a plus but not required

Salary Range:

$70,000 - $115,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
