Security Testing Specialist

Here in the Global Cyber & Information Security team, we are on a mission to embed cyber resilience across FNZ, protecting the platforms that support investment solutions for over 20 million people. 

We are looking for a Security testing specialist, reporting within the Cyber Resilience and Operations function. You will be working closely with developers to embed security measures and tooling across our application (platform) portfolio to help contribute to building secure products. 

Integrate security into DevOps workflows to perform security assessments. Supporting training of developers on secure practices.

You must be passionate about security and excited about joining a fast paced global environment. 

Role Responsibilities:

• Embed security technologies (SAST, DAST, SCA, secret scanning) into the DevOps workflows and provide consultancy guidabnce on best practices. 

• Arrange penetration tests with projects and 3rd parties 

• Consulting on best practice for secure code development and APIs 

• Tracking security defect remediation 

• Report generation for support of security dashboards 

• Support threat modelling and secure delivery lifecycle processes on behalf of CISO 

• Support change boards

Experience required:

• Proven experience of ‘devops’ or application security, threat modelling, API security

• Good understanding of the OWASP Top 10 

• Ideally, with a relevant qualification 

• Experience of static application security testing technology such as Sonarqube and Semgrep 

• Good collaboration and communication skills

• Excellent planning skills 

• Ideally, with some basic penetration testing knowledge especially relating to web applications ​
