Governance Risk and Compliance I Analyst II

POSITION SUMMARY

A Security Platform Integration Analyst leads efforts to integrate and optimize security platforms, aligning them with organizational goals and enterprise architecture. They plan projects, define requirements, and manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution. Key responsibilities include stakeholder communication, risk assessment, and monitoring timelines to meet objectives. Additionally, they implement robust testing strategies to ensure secure and reliable system functionality. This role is vital in enhancing cybersecurity, operational efficiency, and organizational resilience.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide operational support for security project management, including tracking risks, issues, and action items.
• Monitor project activities, report status, mitigate blockers, and manage change requests.
• Ensure security technologies are effectively managed throughout the SDLC lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Information Security, Risk, Architecture, and Development teams.
• Define project requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals and enterprise architecture.
• Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) activities for security tools and oversee procurement and configuration processes.
• Manage stakeholder communication to ensure clarity on project progress and outcomes.
• Oversee risk assessments and prioritize tasks based on criticality and project impact.
• Monitor and report project performance metrics, ensuring alignment with defined KPIs.
• Plan and execute audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards, such as ISO 27001.
• Develop and implement strategies for Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance, tailored to project needs.
• Communicate project updates, milestones, and outcomes to cross-functional leadership through governance meetings.
   

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent, with 3 to 8 years of experience, ideally in a multinational environment.
• Proven experience leading low to medium complexity projects with strong project management skills.
• Familiarity with SLDC processes, Agile methodologies, and product development (preferred).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and provide clear reporting.
• Knowledge of security technologies (e.g., Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM) and cybersecurity trends (preferred but not mandatory).
• Understanding of DevSecOps, vulnerability assessments, and ServiceNow asset management (preferred).
• Analytical mindset with expertise in interpreting and solving complex datasets.
• Strong understanding of ISO 27001, ISMS, and risk management, including audit experience.
• Certification in PMP, CSM, PSO, or PSM (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments with adaptability and emotional intelligence.
• Professional team player with proactive, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven, resourceful, and capable of addressing ambiguity effectively.
• Skilled at simplifying complex concepts and creating impactful messaging.
• Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships within global teams
