Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Contribution: Develop and execute security and engineering strategies and roadmaps.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement automation and enhancements within the network security domain.
• Trend Awareness: Stay current with emerging security trends, threats, and technologies.
• Project Leadership: Lead security projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Technology Management: Manage firewalls, VPNs, cloud security posture, and other security technologies.
• Technical Guidance: Provide expertise during cybersecurity projects and ensure adherence to security standards.
• Policy Enforcement: Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls to comply with industry standards like NIST and ISO 27001.
• Risk Management: Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Architecture Design: Design and implement security technology architecture to protect assets and data.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with management, IT teams, and external partners.
• Mentorship: Mentor and train other network security engineers and analysts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certifications: GIAC, CCSK, OCSP, CISSP, Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure), CEH, ITIL, and others.
• Experience: 8-12 years in cybersecurity, with strong experience in Checkpoint firewalls, Ivanti VPN, Zscaler, and cloud security technologies.
• Skills: Proficiency in secure baseline configuration, network security architecture design, and driving security processes within a complex business environment.
