We are a team of security professionals, working at both offensive and defensive cyber security operations. The purpose of this role is to participate within the Incident Response and Vulnerability Management units available in the Cyber Defence team. Aimed towards adding up solutions and knowledge to reduce our risks within the challenging cyber landscape while gaining valuable experience and knowledge through working at a high-level telecommunications and technology company’s cyber security organization.
What you’ll do
Participating in incident response and vulnerability management program including planning, scheduling, event, log and vulnerability analysis operations, e-mail security & phishing analysis, scanning operations, reporting, remediation, false positive check and maintenance of tools.
• Participating in at least one of these tools / activities; EDR, NDR, SOAR, UEBA, SIEM, sandboxes, malware / forensic analysis, threat hunting and vulnerability scanning, e-mail security & phishing controls
• Building up skills & technical abilities regarding MITRE attack framework ATT&CK®
• Participating in Integrations of threat intelligence sources with SIEM and evaluation
• Becoming an active contributor to SIEM and SOAR systems’ content development, security orchestration and playbook implementation processes to improve overall cyber defence center detection and incident response capability,
• Continuous DAST for internal and external web applications including planning, scheduling, scanning operations, reporting, remediation, false positive checks.
• Penetration testing activities for internal, external assets, one-off projects and web applications including planning, scheduling, reporting, remediation, false positive check and verification activities.
• Regular reconnaissance activities for populating and confirming asset inventory both for internal and external network.
• Creating procedures, flowcharts and playbooks relevant to tasks performed continuously.
Who you are
• BSc. in Computer / Electrical & Electronics / Industrial Engineering is desired,
• Master’s degree (preferably in Computer Science) or equivalent information security experience would be a plus,
• CEH, GPEN, OSCP, Security+, ECIH, GCDA, GDAT, CCNA, CCNP or equivalent would be a plus,
• Python, Go, Bash or any other programming/scripting language knowledge would be a plus,
• Solid knowledge of security principles and practices is desired,
• Experience or knowledge in the following topics are desired:
o Ethical hacking, information security and awareness concepts
o TCP/IP, computer networking, routing and switching
o Network protocols and packet analysis tools
o Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems, CLI and management
o Firewall and intrusion detection/prevention protocols
o DLP, anti-virus and anti-malware
o Cloud computing
o SaaS models
o Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills,
• Critical thinking with strong attention to details and follow up,
• Be prone and willing to participate in a team-work environment,
• Technically competent to contribute towards the preparation and implementation of control processes, procedures and guidelines,
• Good command in English, both written and verbal
