Information Security Development team is looking for Software Engineer III, who has passion in development of software product and services in area of cyber security. Ideal candidates should have strong background in technology and security awareness. Some of the core technology experiences that are desirable for this role would be to have a good software development experience with both front end and backend technologies like integration with backend REST APIs, working with backend databases and exposure to cyber security domain.

Security Engineering Development team is looking for Software Engineer III, who has passion in development of software product and services in area of cyber security. Some of the core technology experiences that are desirable for this role would be to have a good software development experience with both front end and backend technologies like integration with backend REST APIs, working with backend databases and exposure to cyber security domain.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate closely with product and development teams to securely design and implement applications and services
• Develop solutions for Application Security using various technologies and languages such as Java, GoLang, ReactJs, relational and non-relational databases like MySQL, Postgres, Cassandra
• Develop secure application frameworks and libraries for enterprise consumption.
• Work with security engineers, external teams, and partners in an agile manner to build and release product features that caters to business requirements.
• Responsible for operations, monitoring, and upkeeping of the hosted services, products, reports, and analytics.
• Under the guidance of Leads build solutions by integrating security controls in the software development lifecycle
• Continuously evaluate application security practices and implement improvements that foster speed and agility

What You’ll bring

• Experience working in Java and Golang
• Springboot , RESTful web services, Javascript, ReactJs, NodeJs
• Experience in building 3-tier web-based applications and hosting on Kubernetes environment
• Exposure in preparing application component designs, integration diagrams, database designs
• Hands-on in writing SQL queries and familiar with using ORM (Object Relationship Mapping) frameworks
• Good knowledge of implementation of authentication and authorization for web applications, familiar with SSO implementation, LDAP & OAuth
• Good to have knowledge of Information Security, Cryptography, Public Key Infrastructure, SSL/TLS Certificate Life Cycle Management
• Good working knowledge of Linux.
• Experience working with Cloud technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and at least one public cloud like Azure or GCP.
• Strong, proven experience providing secure design and Implementation for diverse application portfolios.
• Strong, proven experience integrating application security into SDLC and CI/CD processes including automated workflows.
• Passion for developing relevant security solutions that are agile and perform at scale
• A strong sense of accountability and self-motivation.
• Should demonstrate ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies and implement.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate and translate security and risk management terminology in business terms.  

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA Security+ or other relevant industry certifications in cyber security domain.
• Experience with applications and services in Microsoft Azure
• Experience in developing applications related to Information security domain.
• DevOps experience in public and private clouds
• Possess self-drive to keep moving things forward even in the face of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge (avoid analysis paralysis)
• Familiarity with static source code analysis tools and application auditing for security vulnerabilities
• Knowledgeable on Incident escalation and processes.
