WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR 🌟

We’re seeking a Lead Cyber Operations Engineer who's not just great at spotting risks but thrives on staying ten steps ahead of them. If you're the kind of person who sees a vulnerability and already has a fix in mind, you're exactly who we want on our team.

You'll be the go-to expert for cybersecurity operations — from application security and vulnerability management to incident response and keeping our security systems sharp. Reporting to the Head of Security, you'll be a key player in keeping our infrastructure and services protected and resilient.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of Cloud Security, Application Security and DevSecOps in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 🚀

  • Support AWS Infrastructure Security
    • Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS services.
    • Develop and enforce security baselines and controls for cloud-based systems.
    • Continuously monitor AWS infrastructure to identify and address security risks.
  • Lead DevSecOps Practices
    • Embed security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
    • Automate security testing and integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
    • Expand the adoption of SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
    • Promote a security-first culture among developers.
  • Oversee Vulnerability Management
    • Maintain a Vulnerability Management and Bug Bounty program.
    • Continuously monitor, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities in Manychat’s application and in AWS cloud environments.
  • Coordinate Cyber Incident Detection and Response
    • Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks.
    • Lead response efforts during security incidents, including forensic analysis and remediation.
    • Collaborate with external partners and internal teams during incident investigations.
  • Manage Blue and Red Team Operations
    • Oversee regular penetration tests and red team exercises.
    • Implement blue team defense measures and improve detection capabilities based on test results.
    • Establish a continuous improvement process for threat detection and mitigation.
  • Maintain and Optimize Security Systems
    • Manage and maintain security tools, including:
      • Web Application Firewall (WAF)
      • Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
      • Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM)
      • Vulnerability Management (VM)
      • Cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS config, GuardDuty)
      • Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)
    • Ensure effective logging and monitoring across all systems.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE đŸ’„

You'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or application security roles.
  • Strong expertise in securing AWS infrastructure (AWS WAF, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, Config etc.).
  • Strong experience in managing security tools.
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Fluency in English.

It would be great if you have:

  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., OSCP, OSWE, CEH, AWS Security).
  • Experience with GitHub Actions.
  • Experience managing or participating in bug bounty programs.
  • Experience working in a SaaS or high-availability environment.

WHAT WE OFFER đŸ€—

Here’s how we care about your growth, well-being, and comfort:

  • Professional development budget for relevant conference tickets, training programs, or courses.
  • Flexible benefits package to customize your own perks.
  • Comprehensive health insurance for both you and your family.
  • Free meals and snacks in the office.
  • Hybrid format to split your time between the comforts of home and collaborative WeWork spaces.
