The Role

Are you ready to embark on a technical adventure and become a hero to our external and internal users? As Technical Support at Kyndryl, you'll be part of an elite team that provides exceptional technical assistance, enabling our clients to achieve their desired business outcomes. 

You'll be a troubleshooter extraordinaire, diagnosing and repairing complex equipment, software, and systems with ease. Nothing will be too challenging for you to solve as you respond to escalated issues, report critical design flaws, reliability and maintenance problems, and bugs.
 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the IAM system.

  • Work with customers, business analysts, and application teams to understand access requirements.

  • Maintain documentation for the IAM program.

  • Participate in IAM audits and review access control reports to identify potential risks.

  • Provide training to new users on the IAM system.

  • Update and maintain the IAM system according to changes in the organization’s business needs.

  • Collaborate with the incident response team and security analysts to monitor data transfer, implement security measures, conduct risk assessments, and remediate vulnerabilities.

  • Understand business needs and develop creative solutions to cater to the varying needs of clients and customers by leading the engineering team to develop a highly intuitive and configurable system.

  • Gather and prioritize requirements, manage scope and backlog, build project plans, oversee regression testing, configuration changes, and complete delivery of products/solutions.


You'll be the go-to person for our customers who require assistance with highly technical or sophisticated products, as well as for customer installations and training. With your passion for technology, you'll provide world-class support that exceeds customer expectations.

As Technical Support, you'll perform varying degrees of problem determination and resolution of desktop hardware and software issues using your technical expertise and available resources to ensure that our customers' issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. You'll also have the opportunity to perform installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC) activities, as well as data backup and restore on certain accounts for clients, ensuring that all related administrative duties are completed within Service Level Agreement objectives.

You will develop a deep understanding of the local and regional infrastructure, as well as key contacts in other competencies, which will enable you to ensure that the proper team is aware of – and taking action on the problem.

Who You Are

Required Technical and Professional Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in Technical Support as an IAM Administrator.

  • Administer user accounts and access privileges in the organization’s identity management system.

  • Sound knowledge of operating systems like Windows, AIX, and Linux.

  • Work closely with the IAM team to ensure that the right people have access to the right resources.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve IAM issues.

  • Participate in IAM projects and initiatives.

  • Profound experience with scripting, particularly PowerShell.

  • Any bachelor's degree in a related technical field

  • 3 or more years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM).

  • Experience developing and presenting executive presentations utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Visio.

  • Working knowledge of Zero Trust principles.
     

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

  • Any bachelor's degree in a related technical field with MCSE or any Microsoft certification.

  • Additional certifications and experience in related fields are a plus.
