About the Role
As a Cybersecurity Architect, you will design and guide end-to-end security solutions for next-generation vehicle systems. This includes setting architectural direction, writing high-level security requirements, and ensuring their implementation across multiple domains and stakeholders. You’ll also support approval processes for cybersecurity compliance and liaise with relevant certification authorities.
This is a highly technical and collaborative position, offering the opportunity to shape innovative security concepts and work alongside domain experts at the forefront of automotive cybersecurity.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll develop cybersecurity strategies and architectures for embedded vehicle platforms, define infrastructure-level security requirements, and lead key aspects of cybersecurity planning. Your work will involve analyzing threats, supporting TARA activities, and providing guidance on secure design practices across hardware and software layers. You'll also work with agile teams to support secure development throughout the product lifecycle.
Who You Are
You’re a technically driven individual with a broad understanding of embedded systems, strong collaboration skills, and a passion for secure design. You understand the balance between practical implementation and regulatory compliance, and you're comfortable guiding teams through complex security challenges.
What You Bring
- A degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
- Hands-on experience in secure architecture design or embedded cybersecurity concepts
- Understanding of vehicle networking and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, wireless)
- Knowledge of security mechanisms like PKI, certificate lifecycle, and cryptographic practices
- Familiarity with security risk assessments, threat modeling, and TARA for complex systems
- Background in secure software engineering and system-level requirement definition
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Exposure to high-performance computing or multi-tenant systems is an advantage
