Senior Palo Alto/Cisco Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Implement and oversee cutting-edge firewall solutions tailored to meet client needs effectively.
• Engage in the design decision-making process and collaborate on the development of innovative solutions.
• Handle incident and change management with professionalism.
• Fine-tune and enhance firewall policies, threat protection, and network segmentation to achieve optimal security performance.
• Work closely with clients to gain insights into their security requirements and suggest optimal practices for firewall setup and configuration.
• Keep abreast of emerging threats and security trends to proactively refine firewall configurations and policies.
• Ensure project delivery aligns perfectly with client expectations.
• Take on the role of a senior technical lead within the team, providing coaching and mentoring to fellow colleagues.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the implementation and support of firewall solutions from Cisco and Palo Alto Networks.
• Practical experience with Zero Trust security concepts and technologies.
• Deep understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting firewall policies and security frameworks.
• Experience with additional firewall technologies, such as Juniper Firewalls, Fortinet, and Check Point, is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of networking technologies, including routing and switching.
• Required certification: CCNP,PCNSE
