This individual will assist with documentation, ticketing, and process execution, ensuring that established procedures are followed consistently and accurately. The Administrative Security Operations Specialist will collaborate with the Cloud Operations Engineering team to help maintain smooth service operations, but the specialized technical work and on-call duties will be handled by an internal team member.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update service documentation, including process guides and operational checklists
• Coordinate and track support tickets, ensuring issues are triaged, documented, and communicated in a timely manner
• Perform basic administrative tasks such as scheduling maintenance windows and coordinating with relevant stakeholders
• Assist in monitoring service health dashboards and escalating issues according to standard operating procedures
• Conduct routine checks on service performance metrics and prepare simple status reports
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely communication and adherence to established protocols
• Follow strict compliance and security guidelinesParticipate in occasional virtual meetings and provide updates to management on progress and service quality

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in administrative or operations support roles
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
• Strong organizational skills and proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic familiarity with ticketing or help desk software (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) is preferred
• Ability to undergo and pass a stringent background check
• U.S. citizenship required
• Must have reliable internet access to support remote/hybrid work
• Hybrid role. One or two days per week on site (Herndon, Virginia). Routine duties can be performed remotely.

Salary

• Part-time $30.00/hr
