The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
RTX is looking for a full-time Senior Analyst, Payroll Tax Compliance to support the requirements associated with prior quarter adjustments.
What You Will Do
- Manage prior quarter adjustment processing, including establishing and communicating dates, preparation and review of adjustment log and ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Research, action and respond to tax related questions to internal RTX teams as well as employees
- Preparation of balancing packages associated with prior quarter adjustments
- Proactively maintain and revise desktop procedures to align with best practices and operational needs
- Participation in projects and enhancements including testing, implementation, and hyper-care as needed
- Maintain excellent relationships and continuous communication with finance employees, ADP, Equifax and other third-party vendors
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with state tax agency representatives
- Manually prepare and release GUAM W2s annually or as needed
- Coordination of quarterly adjustment and out of sequence payrolls
- Provide supporting data as required to support Payroll Tax requirements, internal reviews, internal audits, external audits, and initiatives.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Minimum of two years’ experience in payroll tax
- Experience demonstrating working knowledge of federal and state payroll tax return forms
- Intermediate skills using both Excel, Word, Access and Visio
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field and 2 years of professional applicable experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
Qualifications We Prefer
- Proven analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills for complex issues along with demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimum supervision; must work well with others. Self-starter; ability to drive changes to promote productivity and efficiency.
- Knowledge of legacy systems including ADP EV5, ADP PQAA and ADP Smart Compliance
- Knowledge of tax requirements, including state and local tax filings
- CPP certification preferred

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
