Summary

The Security Intelligence Analyst is responsible for carrying out IT Security campaigns, detecting possible malware and investigating them in the Region.

Job description

Responsibilities and Duties • To perform software code audits (required). • To analyze the malware campaigns in the Region. • To use the ESET technologies to provide Cyber Security Operations Center (CyberSOC) services: Threat Hunting, Threat Monitoring, Threat Intelligence and Ethical Hacking. • To support the activities needed to provide Ethical Hacking services. • To carry out the technical analysis of the detected malware, both dynamic and static. • To write reports on the research carried out and present them at Seminars, Conferences and Events, and to prepare articles and reports to disseminate the research findings. • To provide technical support for customers who were infected with malware. • To help identify threats together with the Malware Laboratory, investigating how they can affect the community and their possible impact, so that the coordinator can generate reports, articles and other training content. • To prepare, together with the team, the contents of the training programs and define the modality of the courses. • To comply with the Information Security Policies and Directives defined by the Company. • To integrate ESET Latin America's values into every decision and day-to-day behavior, making them a pillar of the corporate culture and transmitting them in every task. • Plan and coordinate the work of colleagues in accordance with superior's instructions, be responsible for the performance of the tasks entrusted to it in accordance with established procedures and processes and prioritize tasks of colleagues in order to meet established objectives and achieve required results. • Scope: Regional. Requirements Education • Complete or advanced university studies in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Technician, etc. Experience • At least 2 years working experience in Computer Security or IT-related areas. Knowledge • Pentest tools. • Networking knowledge. • Scripting. • Malware Analysis. • Programming skills (desirable). • Technology infrastructure management. • Knowledge of Computer Security. • Knowledge of malware analysis. Languages • English: intermediate/advanced. Personal characteristics • Research- and analysis-oriented. Additional Information Travels • 20%
