Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Administrator to join the client's IT department and support cybersecurity initiatives at their Ukraine location. This role involves working closely with local IT managers, help desk specialists, and system administrators, as well as collaborating with global security engineers across various regions. The position focuses on enhancing and maintaining security compliance in line with the company’s global standards.
 The position demands a commitment to working from the client's Kyiv office for at least 1 days per week. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
  • Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing.
  • Detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents.
  • Ability to administer Windows OS, network devices, cloud, and virtualization.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to implement and manage encryption and cryptographic solutions.
  • Ensure security auditing and compliance with regulations.
  • Develop, review, and maintain security policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
  • Analyze and solve complex security issues.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across teams and departments.
  • Lead internal security projects and digital transformation initiatives like cybersecurity improvements.
  • Enhance security awareness by developing training materials and conducting security programs for employees.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, and network administration in enterprise environments.
  • Preferably BS or MS degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS) and cloud security.
  • Hands-on knowledge of incident response frameworks, tools, and best practices.
  • Expertise in system administration (Windows OS, network devices, cloud, and virtualization).
  • Experience with encryption methods, cryptographic protocols, and their implementation.
  • Experience with security auditing and compliance checks.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.
