Job Description

Are you passionate about identifying IT risks and issues? Do you enjoy fixing problems and implementing controls to prevent them from reoccurring? Where will you be based and what business will you support?
You will be based in either Barcelona, Spain or Katowice, Poland. You’ll be part of the IT Infrastructure Support team for Eurofins Food & Feed and Environment Testing Europe, supporting a growing international team of over 250 people spread across more than 20 countries. Your role will encompass managing compliance standards, assessing IT risks, and helping ensure the IT infrastructure aligns with Eurofins’ global policies and standards.
How can you help us?
- Support the Regional IT Controls and Compliance Lead to define and implement controls and compliance standards.
- Partner with the Group IT Risk and Compliance teams to ensure compliance and risk monitoring are effectively managed across our European operations.
- Act as a dedicated Controls and Compliance expert for the IT Infrastructure Tower teams and collaborate with Zone Managers and Solution Directors on key control indicators, remediation plans, and IT Risk Assessments.
- Promote a culture of Controls and Compliance, raise awareness, and help drive improvements in IT infrastructure governance.
- Identify opportunities to improve and re-engineer existing compliance monitoring processes and procedures, and be a resourceful partner to ensure they are carried out efficiently.
Qualifications

- Experienced in IT Risk Management, IT Controls, or Information Security (prior experience is preferable, but not mandatory).
- Self-motivated and driven to manage multiple tasks effectively, even in a dynamic and demanding environment.
- A strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills in English at a management level.
- Highly resourceful with the ability to quickly adapt to new challenges and take initiative.
- A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, particularly when managing risks and developing remediation plans.
- Well-organized, disciplined, and skilled in project management to meet objectives and key deadlines while ensuring quality and compliance.
