Mitiga is seeking a standout Director of Digital Marketing with experience in cybersecurity to spearhead our digital demand generation efforts, attracting, engaging, and educating the audiences of enterprise business and cybersecurity professionals who need our cloud detection and response (CDR) offerings. You’ll be helping us build a brand-new market and strengthen our leadership position in the space using sound marketing strategy and the right mix of tactics. You’ll play a pivotal role in Mitiga’s team and in the growth trajectory of our company, collaborating with partners across our company and within our industry to help the world understand the value that Mitiga delivers. You’ll leverage the data, reports, and research from the team to run campaigns that engage with cybersecurity leaders and practitioners, nurture them across the buyer’s journey, and help convert them into opportunities.
What you’ll do:
- Manage our outbound digital marketing focused on Mitiga’s email and nurture programs. This includes partnering on content strategy to develop email and nurture sequences, overseeing email production in Marketo, monitoring and reporting on performance, and developing plans for testing and ongoing optimization.
- Develop and manage inbound marketing campaigns focused on lead generation, leveraging budget effectively in paid media efforts that build awareness and engagement, bringing people down the funnel to sales. This may include some combination of paid search, paid social, display, content syndication, and creative partnerships, and alignment with SEO, organic social and earned media. You are responsible for campaign performance, partnering with the demand gen and product marketing teams to develop campaign strategies to meet our marketing and sales objectives and seeing them through to execution. You ensure all marketing touchpoints are properly aligned to campaigns. monitoring and reporting on performance and developing plans for testing and ongoing optimization.
- Manage day-to-day agency and contractor relationships related to paid media and campaign efforts, keeping internal teams and agencies aligned on goals and working together to fulfill them.
- Drive organic engagement coordinating efforts around search engine optimization, generative AI optimization, and creating contact prospects interact with on our social media accounts to drive organic engagement and inbound leads.
Requirements
Who you are:

- You’re a data-driven marketer who knows how to analyze, report and plan effectively based on what you learn
- You have 5+ years of experience in marketing focused on B2B and cybersecurity
- You know how to work in start-up mode—taking ownership, being budget conscious, and using creative means to get big results
- You bring a can-do attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do
- You’re a collaborator who knows how to partner effectively with people across all levels and roles
- You’re an excellent project manager that can keep attention both on the big picture and the details to execute effectively
- You are audience focused and understand business decision-makers' mindsets and motivations
- You have a passion for what you do and want to build something great
Some More Details and Perks
For this position, the estimated base salary is between $150- 200K with this being just one aspect of the overall compensation package. This will include commission, equity grants, and generous benefits.
