SecOps Engineer (AWS) - Poland

You will be responsible for securing and monitoring AWS infrastructure, ensuring compliance, and mitigating security risks for a SaaS platform.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
AWS Identity & Access Management (IAM) – Define and enforce least privilege access, manage roles, policies, and multi-account security.
AWS Security Monitoring – Configure and manage Security Hub, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, and AWS Config to detect and respond to threats.
SIEM & CSPM Implementation – Deploy and manage SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, Elastic Security) and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools to monitor and remediate misconfigurations.
Compliance & Risk Management – Implement security controls to meet SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR requirements in AWS environments.
Incident Response & Threat Detection – Investigate security alerts, analyze logs using AWS CloudWatch, AWS WAF, and SIEM, and respond to incidents.
Proactive Security Measures – Identify misconfigurations, enforce encryption, and continuously audit AWS security posture.

This is a fixed term contract/permanent full-time position located in Poland. For this role a valid working permit for Poland is mandatory.
Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our client’s now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require. However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 days and even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our client demands.
