As a global critical financial infrastructure, the protection of Euroclear information and assets is fundamental to the company’s' business. Security is at the core of our services, firmly embedded in the management systems and processes of the company. You will be joining our Chief Information Security Office (CISO) in charge of putting in place the required controls to protect our information assets adequately and effectively.

The “IT Data Management” team is part of the Cyber Information Security Office Division and oversees the set-up and the monitoring of a data protection control framework based on the CIS Top20 plus a couple of other regulations applicable to trusted FMI’s.

Personal Data protection is a critical area within the Euroclear group. As member of the IT Data Management, you are encouraged to support the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) implementation and other personal data protection matters.

We are a dynamic team responsible for providing support on GDPR topics to the IT divisions.

Role

This is a GDPR Analyst role where you will ensure that all IT processing activities involving personal data align with the Euroclear Personal Data Protection framework, to align with related legal/regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end to end process analysis whenever personal data is involved.
  • Provide support to the relevant person in completing the Personal Data Protection (Impact) Assessment.
  • Ensure all processing activities involving personal data are registered and documented as expected by the Personal Data Protection framework.
  • Provide support to the Data Protection Office on Data Subject Request (DSR) process management and Data Breach investigation management.
  • Develop a high-level of trust with customers to ensure ongoing commitment.
  • Promote and improve the appropriate level of awareness of the Personal Data Protection framework (Training, Townhall, Cyber-Month…)
  • Foster a team environment, open to communication and collaboration acting as One Euroclear.
  • Partner with representatives of IT, Data Protection Office, Risk, Audit and other key business teams to advance overall Asset Classification related initiatives leveraging your IT background and technical skills.
  • Require the implementation of the GDPR controls to the process owners with the control objectives to meet.
  • Supervise the implementation of these controls and collect the evidence of the control efficiency and log and follow-up on gaps identified.

Requirements

  • You can deliver high quality support in an autonomous, timely, pragmatic and effective fashion.
  • You are customer focused and provide service in line with SLAs.
  • You supervise your service delivery, report clearly and step back to improve with a continuous improvement (CI) mentality.
  • You have experience in Risk Assessment, Control efficiency check-up and risk management.
  • You understand the difference between an inherent risk, a residual risk, and an inefficient control; risk addressing and risk mitigation.
  • You possess a good knowledge of industry standards relating both to Application Development and IT infrastructure.
  • You are analytical and possess problem-solving ability, by quickly understanding and analyzing different domains.
  • Experience in GDPR is an asset.
  • Committed to acquire a professional certification related to GDPR.
  • Technical proficiency to deliver tooling to support and streamline our processes
