The Role

This position will report to the Ingalls' IT Chief of Staff and Manager of Compliance and will work with the IT Compliance Team in support of compliance activities as required by law, regulations, and company policies and procedures. This role involves monitoring compliance requirements, conducting risk assessments, supporting audits, and working with various stakeholders to implement best practices for IT governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC).

Key Responsibilities include:

• Understand IT SOX compliance.

• Provide regulatory compliance monitoring. Staying up to date on relevant IT regulations, standards, and frameworks.

• Support and lead audit and reporting activities. Assisting with internal and external IT audits by providing necessary documentation and evidence.  Maintain records of compliance assessments, risk findings, and remediation efforts.

• Assist with policy and process development. Ensure IT controls are up-to-date and enforced. Conduct semi-annual reviews of controls and narratives to ensure up-to-date.

• Assist and lead process improvement with the compliance team.

• Control execution. Execute assigned GITC SOX controls for SAP, IFS, etc. 

Must Have

6 Years with Bachelor's Degree in related field; 4 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Government regulations that include, but are not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Personally Identifyable Identification (PII/PPI), DFAR, NIST
  • Prior Experience participating in Audits
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detailed documentation.
  • Adherence to timelines is a must.
  • Experience with stakeholder (internal and external) communication
  • Experience with: IT Server Administration (Windows, UNIX, Etc), IT Network, Identity Management Tools, GRC tools (SAP GRC, Saviynt), SAP, IFS, etc.
