Job Description:
Security Lab Manager will be responsible to establish, manage and lead the team conducting security testing activities, including lab and security testing infrastructure, development and execution of security tests, penetration tests, new technologies investigation and product security certification aligned with various requirements and regulations.
In a typical day as a Manager Ops Cyber Lab, you would...
- Provides direct and ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors designing and developing security tests, enhancements and updates. and coordinating projects for systems software, including operating systems, compliers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
- Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps.
- Communicates project status and escalates issues to direct managers, program managers, and internal and external development partners.
- Manages relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, global security teams and R&D team, including setting expectations regarding requirements, deliverables, schedules, and costs; ensures that team members are effectively communicating and collaborating with outsourced resources.
- Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities.
- Provides people-care management for assigned team members, including hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; ensures that proper knowledge and career development tools are in place to support ongoing team member and process development.
- Manage laboratory resources, systems and infrastructure to support lab activities.
What you need to bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
- Typically 5 or more years of related work experience, including 0 -2 years of people management experience.

- Good understanding of the company's policies and processes.
- Knowledge of cryptographic standards and methods.
- Understanding of multiple software systems design tools and languages, including testing methodology and test plans.
- Technical background related to IT Security and engineering environments, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud systems.
- Secure application and Secure software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge
- Knowledge of common security related protocols and their design (i.e. SSH, IPsec, TLS, etc.)
- Certifications: Cybersecurity related certification like CISSP, CVP
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
