Role Summary

The Head of Cybersecurity Assurance will lead a diverse organization that is responsible for assuring the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls, policy enforcement, and remediation. The Cybersecurity Assurance organization incorporates multiple functions to deliver against their mission. These include, for example, vulnerability scanning, configuration scanning and drift management, network traffic business rules configuration assessments, cloud and data security posture management. All findings associated with these functions are delivered to asset owners across the enterprise for remediation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for continuously assessing Coupang’s global infrastructure environment for cyber security and related risks.
• Remit includes vulnerability scanning across all infrastructure, including container and cloud environments, configuration scanning, and network traffic rules assessments.
• Leader will partner closely with peers and the business to ensure that identified risks are clearly reported and understood to support remediation activities and appropriate protections are in place.
• Build and lead a high-performing high-trust team of individuals to be mission driven and delivery focused.

Role Qualifications:

• Information Security & Technology professional with 10+ years of experience. 
• Broad technical background utilizing security technologies, such as Server and workstation Operating Systems, Network Security, Vulnerability Scanning Engines, and Compliance Management solutions.
• 5 years of risk management experience with proven ability to effectively apply risk principles to challenging business situations. 
• Subject matter expertise in vulnerability testing and development of risk appetite. 
• Ability to build strong Partner relationships with peer technology groups and supported LOB. 
• Ability to partner, drive direction, make and communicate decisions across organizational boundaries.
• Ability to influence horizontally and vertically across the organization and with diverse audiences with varying degrees of technical understanding. 
• Proven executive presentation and communication skills. 
• Ability to communicate complex information in simple terms (oral and written).
• Excellent influencing and problem resolution skills. 
• Strong leadership skills and qualities which enable you to work with peers and various levels of management.
