The successful candidate will have extensive experience supporting information security programs of various sensitivity, according to unique client requirements.  They will be practiced in developing, updating, maintaining & regularly reviewing IT security policies, standards and procedures.  Through this, ensuring alignment with regulatory, legal, contractual requirements and industry best practices.    You as a Cyber Security Analyst: 
  • Leadership in vulnerability management and remediation initiatives through administering vulnerability management tools and both implementing and coordinating remediation efforts across IT technical teams (Support, Operations and DevOps)
  • Strong decision making capabilities during incident response with an ability to support the IR process as a technical leader
  • Strong skills in the system administration of security applications & tools, including SIEM, Vulnerability Management, NGAV / EDR, SOAR, and System Management tools. Enhance and expand centralized log management and automation within the SIEM, including the design and management of appropriate alerting, SOAR playbooks, and automated reporting.
  • Leading the design and implementation of technical integrations between security applications and IT systems.  Support the secure design and implementation of IT systems (servers, user devices, applications, infrastructure) and processes in collaboration with the IT technical teams 
  • Identify, develop, lead, and facilitate implementation of technical initiatives and programs designed to improve the organization’s security posture. 

This is the right role for you, if you have: 

  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Post secondary education in IT, Information / Cyber Security, or relevant industry experience
  • Significant experience working in Information / Cyber Security
  • Experience in systems administration and support, with a preference for those with experience in security systems
  • Experience mentoring and coaching peers to achieve their goals
  • Demonstrated strength in both analytical and technical skills
  • Ability to work well independently; able to self start, and a strong ability to learn new systems and tools quickly
  • Experience with Azure, M365, Palo Alto a plus
  • Experience with scripting languages and automation a plus
  • Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, CISA, Security+) a plus 
  • Familiarity with industry standards (NIST, CIS, PCI, SOC, ISO) a plus
