The Intelligence Programs Group, part of SPA’s Space and Intelligence Division, is a specialized provider of systems engineering and trusted advisory services to the Space and National Intelligence community. We utilize mission-proven, data-driven advisory tools and capabilities. We provide highly technical support to ensure the government acquires cutting edge technology necessary for our National Defense. Our portfolio includes the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). SPA has an immediate or near term need for a Cybersecurity Corporate Support professional.
Responsibilities
As a member of the COLOSSUS program, the successful candidate will provide Enterprise Planning and Management support to the Cyber Security Office (CSO). Functional activities will include general Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to include development of white papers, briefings, action responses, coordination support, as well as participating on behalf of CSO in enterprise-level activities. The incumbent will act as a contractor point of contact for office initiatives, coordinate with stakeholders, and proactively ensure that responses meet deadlines.
- Develop executive-level communications and correspondence with a high degree of comprehensiveness, accuracy, and timeliness of written information.
- Review and respond to TIER actions on behalf of the CSO FO.
- Draft CSO Governance Plan, submit for review and approval to CSO leadership.
- Develop templates for regularly occurring meeting, create SOPs (i.e.: Office Guide), and create multimedia presentations for key events.
- Track and maintain space logistics spreadsheets and diagrams for CSO, respond to MS&O and COMM space audits, and to COMM vacancy audits. When seating issues or reorganizations arise, draft COAs for government to review and approve.
- Assist COLOSSUS team lead or develop initial slides for CoS for three main CSO meetings: SLT, Staff, and Sync.
- Draft responses to DoD, IC, IG, etc., memos on behalf of CSO; obtain approval from leadership and submit.
- Work with Team Lead and CSO Director for Cybersecurity Awareness Campaigns and other key events.
- Assist with records management efforts. Document all repositories that hold CSO records and of all security and distribution groups.
- Maintain content for CSO SharePoint Internal/External main page; update as organizational or informal changes occur.
- Maintain CSO organization and geographic charts.
- Work directly with CSO Director and Chief of Staff providing corporate support.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly or willing to take a CI Poly
- IC experience
- BS/BA with 5+ years of demonstrated performance related to tasks above (or Associate’s with 8+ years, or 15+ years of demonstrated performance in related tasks)
- Ability to excel as a member of a collaborative team through open communication, transparency, and flexibility
- Ability to relate professionally with senior Government customers and colleagues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting the NRO
- Reports to Chantilly, VA designated work location, up to full-time, based upon the needs of the client
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
- Master’s degree with 5+ years of demonstrated performance in related tasks
- Experience supporting multi-agency IT initiatives with responsibilities in strategic planning, architecting, policy, governance, or portfolio management
- Experience in Cyber Security, Cyber Technology and/or Cyber Zero Trust architecture practices
