As a Cloud Security Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing security controls for cloud infrastructure, applications, and data. Collaborate with top-tier engineers, architects, and analysts to safeguard our cloud-based systems and ensure compliance with the latest security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Security Implementation: Design and implement security controls for cloud environments, particularly Azure, to protect infrastructure, applications, and data. Experience with Defender for Cloud, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), and Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) is essential.
• Threat Detection & Response: Monitor cloud environments for security threats, investigate alerts, and coordinate incident response efforts. Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft XDR, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Defender for Identity is required.
• Identity & Access Management (IAM): Enforce authentication, authorization, and access control policies across cloud platforms. Familiarity with Conditional Access Management, Microsoft Defender for Identity, Entra ID, and IGA/PAM solutions is important.
• Vulnerability Management & Threat Intelligence: Assess cloud environments for vulnerabilities, identify attack vectors, and recommend mitigations. Experience with Microsoft Defender for Vulnerability Management and staying updated on cloud security threats is crucial.
• Cloud Application Management: Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate DevSecOps and Zero Trust principles throughout the application lifecycle.
• Data Protection: Ensure data protection through encryption mechanisms and experience with Microsoft Purview.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure cloud security practices align with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, DORA, and regulatory requirements.
• Security Awareness & Training: Provide guidance and training to internal teams on secure cloud practices and ensure compliance with security policies.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years in cloud security, security operations, or related roles.
• Proven experience in cloud security, with a strong focus on Azure.
• Deep knowledge of Azure security services (Azure AD, Defender for Cloud, Entra, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud security frameworks (CIS, CSA CCM, NIST, etc.).
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of cloud security principles, network security, IAM, and security tools like CSPM and SIEM.
• Certifications (not mandatory): SC-200, SC-900, AZ-500 or any relevant certification
