Security Architect

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and enhancing the security architecture of our systems and applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that security is integrated into every aspect of our technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure security is designed and integrated into SBD solutions leveraging on-prem, cloud, and hybrid deployment models.
• Conduct comprehensive threat modeling and security architecture reviews of new and existing systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate them.
• Utilize GRC platform to enhance the risk assessment processes.
• Develop and maintain security architecture documentation, including design patterns, standards, and guidelines.
• Stay up to date with the latest security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Lead security architecture discussions and workshops with stakeholders to align security objectives with business goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proven experience in security architecture, with a strong understanding of security principles, frameworks, and technologies.
• Familiarity with security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP etc.
• Experience with network security, application security, and data protection.
• Experience securing applications within cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Compute (GCP)
• Preferred knowledge of web/API security architecture, including common authentication and authorization technologies such as OAuth2, HMAC, WS-Security, and WS-Trust.
• Experience with ServiceNow IRM and expertise in risk assessment and management processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Cyber security certification preferred: CISSP, CISM, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS Solution Architect Professional, and/or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
