Pembina's Information Services Unit manages and maintains the company's infrastructure, provides technical support, ensures data security and accessibility, implements new technology, strategies for future development, manages vendors, and ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Cyber Security Analyst/designer specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM). In this role, you will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our IAM program, leading the operational design, development, and management of IAM/PAM technologies. Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
IAM/PAM Technology Management & Development:
- Serve as the primary SME for all IAM and PAM projects and operational technologies;
- Lead operational design and development within the SailPoint platform, including workflows and connectors (Active Directory, Entra ID, Webservice, JDBC, Service Desk Integration);
- Troubleshoot technical issues within IAM platform and manage worker identity lifecycle and data flow;
- Research, implement, and manage security tools supporting the IAM/GRC function based on business needs and compliance requirements;
- Represent the Identity team at the Change Advisory Board (CAB);
- Liaise with different teams and business units, ensuring security is integrated effectively while enabling business objectives.
Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Collaborate proactively with business stakeholders , including cybersecurity leaders, developers, QA, project, and product management;
- Share progress and successes in team meetings to ensure alignment;
- Coach, mentor, and provide day-to-day direction for junior team members supporting IAM operations and projects;
Quality Assurance & Documentation:
- Develop features, resolve issues, perform unit testing, and create test steps for QA to ensure high-quality security solutions;
- Maintain clear and accurate process documentation, change control records, and other relevant ITSM documentation;

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Significant experience (e.g., 5-10+ years) as a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant/Analyst;
- Hands-on Identity Platofmr experience (workflows, connectors, troubleshooting);
- Deep understanding of IAM/PAM principles, lifecycle management, and best practices.
- Experience with backend infrastructure supporting IAM solutions (e.g., virtual appliances);
- Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills;
- Experience implementing and managing cybersecurity tools;
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2, SOX) impacting identity and security;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Security Engineering, or equivalent experience;
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP) are highly desirable;
- Knowledge of agile development processes;
- Experience with ServiceNow;
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP);
- Scripting or development experience (e.g., Python, Java);
- Experience in broader GRC functions;
- Knowledge of application security concepts (SAST/DAST, Threat Modeling);
