Job Description Summary:

The is a pivotal role within the organization, entrusted with the critical responsibility of safeguarding the safety and security of patients, employees, and high-profile individuals. Responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and management of comprehensive organizational threat management programs, executive security programs, and special event security management programs. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity and security of the entire health system and the executive team.

Responsibilities And Duties:

Responsible for the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive organizational threat management programs.
Lead the creation and execution of executive security programs.
Oversee the development and management of special event security management programs.
Support onsite travel/event security for high profile events, meetings, conferences, etc.
Formulate and maintain robust program policies and processes.
In collaboration with care site Protective Services leaders, develop and uphold HB452 security risk assessments, including thorough physical security evaluations and detailed analyses of local crime statistics.
Act as a primary security and threat liaison between all OH locations without protective services teams.
Aggregate and analyze threat stream data from HR, the executive suite, revenue cycle, and care sites to take decisive action and document findings.
Coordinate with care site Protective Services leaders and law enforcement partners to effectively mitigate threats.
Ensure the unwavering safety and security of patients, employees, and executives within the health system.

Minimum Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing threat mitigation efforts.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing executive and special event protection plans.
  • A minimum of 5 years managing a security team.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
  • Extensive experience in liaising with law enforcement agencies.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering training on security matters.
  • A preferred background in law enforcement or military service.
  • Ability to travel 5-10% of the time for onsite security support.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

  • In-depth understanding of risk assessment, emergency response, and personal security techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate independently under a wide range of physical and mental stresses.
  • High emotional intelligence and adaptability to changing environments.
  • Utmost discretion and confidentiality.
