In today's high-stakes digital age, cyber resilience isn't just an IT concern—it's a boardroom imperative. Protecting sensitive information is essential because organizations face a myriad of threats, including cyberattacks and data breaches.

Cyber resilience goes beyond merely defending against threats; it’s also about ensuring business continuity and productivity even when cybersecurity incidents occur. Safeguarding the perimeter from threat actors is crucial, but preventing data loss, corruption, or theft requires a different set of tools—a blend of data governance, ransomware protection, and data backup and recovery.

Job Summary

As a Solution Architect you will work as part of a highly technical team of professionals who are responsible for all architectural design, development and deployment of cost effective and sustainable technical and application solutions to meet business requirements. Strong organizational skills, technical expertise and attention to detail are key in this customer-focused role.

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead our cyber resilience initiatives within customers and partners throughout our Western Europe area using our full breadth of solutions and ecosystem integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cyber Resiliency challenges and industry solutions as well as experience with NetApp products and services. As a Solution Architect you are a pivotal member of the area-level team supporting the field account teams, with area expertise in regards of Cyber Resilience in conversations with customer lines of businesses and IT functions.

Job Requirements

• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide expert guidance on Cyber Resiliency solutions within the NetApp ecosystem.
• Design and architect Cyber Resiliency solutions that align with customer business objectives and integrate seamlessly with NetApp technologies.
• Lead technical discussions and presentations for customers and at industry events.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to pre-sales technical teams, including account reps and solution specialists.
• Stay abreast of the latest Cyber Resiliency trends and NetApp product updates to ensure our solutions remain competitive.
• Work closely with product management and engineering teams to provide feedback from the field and influence product development.
• Assist in the development of business cases, proposals, and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
• Drive initiatives to increase the sales team's Cyber Resiliency capabilities and knowledge through training and enablement programs.
• Cyber resiliency is not solved by any single vendor. Demonstrate solution differentiation at IT manager and CxO level through the lens of IT security and business outcomes.
• Publishing reference architectures, significant wins, best practices, etc., both internally and externally.
• Designing and running proofs-of-concept to illustrate solution fit within the customer’s environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a focus on Cyber Resiliency, data security solutions and ISV ecosystem.
• Strong technical background in NetApp storage and data services.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Experience in pre-sales and working with sales teams in a technical advisory capacity.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Personal initiative - you will not be closely supervised, so this job requires a motivated, results-oriented individual who can achieve customer success without close supervision.
