MISSION / SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director, Governance, Risk & Compliance, the Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day activities that foster a safe and secure operating environment for GPI. The role is responsible for supporting, analyzing and evaluating cyber security technologies with our third-party managed service providers and respective professional service teams and implementing security solutions to assist businesses with the assessment and improvement of GPI’s security infrastructure.
JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.
- Responsible for security monitoring metrics and trending for actionable patterns including pushing knowledge base articles to the Global Help Desk to allow remote incident remediation where applicable.
- Support the extension of current security operations management governance model to a global footprint in partnership with other IT leaders in the organization.
- Collaborate with engineering management teams to ensure proper deployment and monitoring of new security technologies and cloud enablement as GPI continues to evolve in that space.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with regional, national & international data privacy regulations.
- Work with the compliance team and vendors to ensure SOX evidence for internal & external audits.
- Partner with various internal company departments to provide internal security consulting for various corporate initiatives on the technologies leveraged by the Information Security department.
- Process security questionnaires submitted by potential company partners or company clients and respond to external inquiries on topic of GPI Cyber Security maturity using standard language responses approved by leadership.
- Responsible for the implementation and management of Data Loss Prevention and Data Discovery programs leveraging the capabilities of Microsoft Purview and Varonis.
- Documentation of cyber security STANDARDS and POLICIES pertinent to Security Operations intact at GPI.
- Support and promote and train on policies, technical standards and processes across Global IT for the Information Security department.
- Engage third level support and vendor system engineers as necessary to participate in problem response and root cause determination of security incidents.
- Monitor and report to executive leaders the status of Data Governance and Security risk posture on recurring cadence
- Other duties as requested by your direct Manager
BACKGROUND / EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, data analytics, or related fields of study; or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in working across and in an IT Service organization
- CISSP, GIAC, or CISM certifications or ability to obtain certification in 1-2 years
- Information Security or Technology Compliance background, including information and cyber security assessment, risk analysis, privacy, data protection, regulatory frameworks, as well as risk and security architecture and demonstrated experience in leading cyber incident response
- Knowledge of information security threats, vulnerability and countermeasures and associated operational best practices
- Ability to work in a virtual team environment across global time zones

Ability to pull and analyze data for helping drive continual operational improvement

Experience delivering Security Awareness and process traininigs is a plus
Pay Range: $71,625.00 - $95,500.00
