Job Summary

Cybersecurity Intern will manage and enhance access control mechanisms across our global infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and refining access permissions, ensuring compliance with security policies, and facilitating a smooth transition to Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.

Job Details/Responsibilities

Security-Assignment Cleanup:

  • Conduct a review of existing access permissions across all servers.
  • Identify and remediate excessive or outdated access rights in alignment with security policies and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with system administrators and security teams to implement least privilege principles.
  • Maintain documentation of access rights modifications and ensure audit readiness.

PAM Transition:

  • Assist in transitioning Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with administrative access to Privileged Access Management (PAM) accounts.
  • Work closely with security teams to define PAM roles and ensure proper enforcement of access controls.
  • Provide guidance and training to SMEs on PAM best practices and secure authentication procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any access-related issues to ensure a seamless migration experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)

  • Knowledge of access control models and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Concept of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions
  • Knowledge of server access management on Microsoft Windows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

  • Current college student with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, Information Science or related field
