The role will require the successful candidate to drive business development in the Americas region, nuancing our capability to service client demands in the region. The candidate should have experience of delivering CTI products to multiple organisations across sectors, including having developed and delivered managed CTI products.
The candidate will develop thought leadership relevant to Americas-based and global clients. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to frequently and articulately brief senior client audiences on the strategic threat landscape, digital risks and wider technology developments.
The role requires the candidate to support our wider Digital Risks and Control Risks service lines in delivering various intelligence and consulting outputs working across multiple global, virtual teams and building strong and effective relationships across our business.
Tasks and responsibilities
Business development responsibilities
- Responsible for driving the Americas CTI business growth, including originating client engagements, contributing to business unit and wider service line growth targets and supporting significant cross-service line opportunities in the region and globally.
- Leading on scoping regional CTI requirements, as well as contributing to scoping and winning global engagements. Able to effectively collaborate with internal teams in Digital Risks and in the wider Control Risks business both in sharing relevant work from CTI-led engagements and in drawing CTI opportunities from wider engagements.
- Work closely with regional threat intelligence (TI) leadership and analysts to ensure the TI product remains cohesive and able to service holistic client security intelligence needs.
- Generate and maintain regionally relevant collaterals and materials that can be shared by Digital Risks and wider Control Risks colleagues to engage clients and drive business development.
Subject matter expertise
- Demonstrate regional and global CTI and cyber security expertise applicable to private sector organizations across a range of sectors with a clear view of emerging threats and trends relevant to our clients and their technologies.
- Competently deliver briefings to senior audiences across several different sectors and countries in the Americas and globally.
- Work across the Digital Risks department and wider Control Risks departments to share regional and global intelligence, enabling client deliverables and engagement with clients and prospects.
- Articulate how regional issues, trends and requirements impact the CTI product set and work with the global team to tailor products to aid sales in the region.
- Demonstrate robust understanding of the geopolitical, technological, economic and social drivers of cyber threats to produce forward-looking intelligence analysis.
- Deliver strong written outputs, PowerPoint presentations and verbal briefings, understanding and articulating threat in a client-specific context tailored to the client stakeholder and the client’s overall maturity.
Intelligence product development and managed threat intelligence
- Helping develop, build up, and deliver managed CTI capabilities.
- Proactively collecting and analysing information from all sources to produce actionable intelligence for our bespoke clients.
- Responsible for identifying and obtaining intelligence feeds relevant to the Americas threat and intelligence landscape.
- Provide regional expertise within the global CTI team to aid prioritization of content coverage and intelligence collection for a subscription-based intelligence platform.
Marketing
- Producing marketing materials and public-facing analysis designed to demonstrate CTI capability and subject matter expertise to a public audience.
- Creating collaterals to be shared with clients and prospects outlining threats to specific geomarkets and sectors, while also outlining clearly our CTI capabilities and value add.
Management and administration
- Responsible for effectively managing consulting engagements end to end, tracking utilization and realization, setting up projects, managing income accruals and invoicing.
- Reviewing income, accruals and invoicing across Americas projects.
- Line management responsibilities of regional and potentially global resources.
Requirements
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without sponsorship
- Candidates must possess unrestricted US work authorization
Knowledge and experience
- Highly motivated and autonomous individual with ability to self-task and develop own research.
- Track record of originating and/or driving growth with intelligence clients, including delivering client engagements end to end, maintaining engagement post-project delivery.
- Evidence of managing multiple concurrent consulting, intelligence engagements including managing finance, project admin and project resourcing across a portfolio.
- 5+ years’ intelligence experience in a relevant field in private or public sector organizations.
- 2+ years’ experience in a commercial cyber security or CTI setting.
- Demonstrable experience in the field of geopolitics, threat intelligence and/or cyber security through academic or professional engagement with a clear understanding of the Americas threat landscape and how it applies to specific organizations.
- Experience briefing and pitching to senior audiences on cyber and intelligence topics.
- Practical knowledge and understanding of cyber security concepts and methods preferred.
- Practical experience in the field of intelligence collection, analysis and reviewing preferred.
- Experience delivering managed intelligence or cyber security products preferred.
- Ability to present technical information and analysis to a non-technical audience preferred.
- Demonstrable experience of business development, marketing or winning client work preferred.
- Educated to degree / masters level or several years’ work experience in an intelligence, cyber security or social science field preferred(Terrorism, Politics, International Relations, Intelligence Studies).
- Understanding of both qualitative and quantitative analytical tools and techniques preferred.
- Intelligence analysis (CREST, NIAT, GIAT, DIAM, City and Guilds), CTI (CRTIA, CPTIA) or cyber security (CISSP, CEH, CLASS) qualifications are highly desirable but not essential.
- Additional languages preferred: Chinese Mandarin, Russian, Farsi, Arabic, Spanish, and/or German.
Qualifications and specialist skills
- The desired candidate may have a background in CTI, intelligence collection or analysis, geopolitical risk analysis.
- Familiarity with following analysis and collection tools: Maltego, RiskIQ, SOCMINT, OSINT engines, complex Boolean searches, MS Office suite (particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel), use of secure research network.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000-$155,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
