What Will You Do?

Are you passionate about information security and eager to make a meaningful impact? Federated Insurance is looking for a talented Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our dynamic Information Security team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's systems and data while working with cutting-edge technologies.

As an IAM Engineer, you’ll be a key player in enhancing and securing our enterprise systems. Your main focus will be on developing, implementing, and maintaining Identity and Access Management tools. You'll design and manage role-based access control models, automate workflows, and ensure the organization is operating with robust security measures.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and implement enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools including identity providers, privileged access management, identity governance, cloud identity, role-based access control models, and automations.
  • Identify, evaluate, recommend, implement, and configure routine and complex information security controls across the organization that meets industry standards, regulations and laws while protecting Federated’s data.
  • Advise and assist other Information Services personnel to implement appropriate levels of information security controls to support business objectives.

 

Qualifications:

  • A four-year degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • A minimum of 2 years' professional experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Proven experience building sustainable, scalable, and efficient security tools and automation using industry standard scripting languages and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of public cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience supporting Identity Providers, Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, and Identity lifecycle preferred
  • Experience in identity products and protocols such as Active Directory, Kerberos, LDAP, SAML, and OAuth.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-standard IAM security tools and services such as IGA, PAM, JIT access, ITDR, etc.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP) are a plus.
  • An unquestioned ability to retain confidential business and personnel information.
  • Physical ability to lift 25 pounds when required.

Pay range is $87,300 - $132,900.
