Scope of Role
Whilst you will report to the Head of IT in the UK, its scope and effect is global. You will lead on programmes and projects to have a significant impact on our operational and business processes. As such there will be a need to work with global and functional partners to ensure all change projects are observed, whilst maintaining the working relationships created by the team.
You will be located in London with a hybrid work pattern. This is a full time maternity cover role offered as a fixed term or temporary contract.
As a Programme Manager, you will:
- Initiation, scoping and managing the fulfilment of initiatives that follow organisational goals.
- Plan and design programmes of work, monitoring its progress, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective action.
- Identify main requirements needed from cross-functional team and external vendors. Coordinating activities between multiple projects giving detailed attention to programme strategy.
- Oversee the programme’s governance, identifying risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.
- Manage the programmes for integration of IT and Security processes of new acquisitions into ITRS Group’s existing environment, infrastructure, and governance structure.
- Third-party contract initiation, negotiation, and management. Maintaining relationships with external partners and managing internal visibility on opex and capex budgeting for Business Systems within IT & Security Operations.
- Oversee multiple internal & external project teams, ensuring programme goals are achieved.
- Build credible, trusted advisor relationships with main client partners at all levels of the organisation
Requirements
- Experience with software implementation
- Experience of implementation of infrastructure / enterprise-wide projects
- Working knowledge of third-party vendor and IT contract management.
- Familiarity with CRM software and Business Systems.
- Collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to develop a collaborative work environment, maintain effectiveness, high performance teams, and organise people and resource to identify opportunities
- Knowledge of best practices of waterfall and Agile project management, including: sprint life cycle, scope definition and management, planning and scheduling, monitoring, communication cycles, managing project teams and risk management.
- Prior experience managing and influencing teams, ensuring good collaboration and coordination between multiple sites, time zones and cultures.
