Position Overview:

Provides services to the day-to-day operating objectives of an acute care hospital, medical group/foundation and ambulatory care environment in an integrated, not-for-profit health care system. Participates in projects and programs appropriate to the needs of the assigned area, participating in the planning and implementation of projects and initiatives, conducting research and reporting including recommendations or proposals for action.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Under supervision, provides entry-level professional services as appropriate to the day-to-day operating objectives of the area.

  • Receives guidance, training, and mentoring from senior personnel in planning and carrying out activities and assignments.

  • Conducts research and reporting inclusive of recommendations or alternative proposals for action.

  • Undertakes related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate to the specific objectives of the operating unit.

  • Participates in the planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise and ability.

  • Prepares various Excel, Word or PowerPoint reports and works with Access database software (or similar tool) to develop data extracts and information reports.


EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's: Pursuing a bachelor's degree or have graduated from an accredited university within the last year.


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions.

  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as interpersonal skills.

  • Verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.

Pay Range is $23.00 to $23.00 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package. ​
