As part of Westpac’s Incident Response team, you’ll be the first point of contact when security concerns arise. You will provide specialist advice in the areas of safety and security and overseeing & monitoring the security, preparedness, and continuity of the business. Based in Sydney, this role operates on a rotating roster between 8 AM and 8 PM, making sure Westpac’s people, customers, and assets are always protected.
This is a shift-based role, working four 10-hour shifts per week (38 hours total), across Monday to Sunday. While most shifts will fall between 6 AM and 8 PM, there may be occasional overnight shifts, so flexibility is key. Weekends won’t be every week—expect 2 to 3 weekends per month, typically one day at a time.
What do I need?
- Excellent customer service skills and experience
- Active listening skills & the ability to extract relevant information
- Strong prioritisation and organisation skills with proven track record in working under pressure & in stressful situations
- An ability to effectively switch between multiple systems while helping impacted colleagues
- Please note: your flexibility will be required with a rotating shift roster as per above
