About the role

Reporting to the Head of Deal Governance and Sales Performance, this position is responsible for ensuring sales transactions are structured and approved in compliance with FBNZ's internal policies and required external (e.g. PTAS) regulations.  This role supports the Sales, Finance and business operations by enforcing governance and compliance frameworks, identifying non-compliant deal structures, and maintaining high standards for documentation and approvals. 

Other duties include:

• Communicate with key stakeholders to ensure visibility of all deals currently in progress
• Review deal documentation for accuracy and compliance with pricing, legal and commercial policies (pricing, discounts, contractual terms, FSMA, delegation of authority etc)
• Validate that all required approvals, documentation and exception justifications are in place prior to contract review and execution. 
• Identify any financial, legal or operational risks in proposed deals, and escalate any exceptions/non-standard terms to Deal Governance committee for review and sign off
• Ensure all attended to Deal Governance deal requests comply with both FBNZ and FBAP Deal Governance policies and procedures
• Provide regular updates and reports to management on the progress of deals and any potential risks or issues
• Other administrative duties related to Deal Governance

Skills & experience

We are looking for someone who has strong analytical and problem solving skills.  Along with this, you will also have:

• 2+ years’ experience in a relevant position
• Proven experience in financial and operational data systems
• Proven ability to translate data into meaningful business insight
• Advanced Excel and presentation skills
• Proven ability to take initiative and be pro-active
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all work
