As a seasoned cyber professional, you know that understanding adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures is vital to producing the intel that enables the success of mission owners. As a cyber threat specialist on our team, you’ll lead a team to help customers solve problems using the latest software like. Using penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and threat monitoring, you’ll work alongside multiple stakeholders to evaluate risk and make meaningful recommendations. You’ll oversee the monitoring of security environments and identify security gaps through the eyes of an adversary.
In this role, you’ll impact a critical mission area, customer industry by monitoring the network environment for new and evolving threats and supporting damage assessment activities to assess adversary capabilities, etc.

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with physical and functional process models
- 5+ years of experience with conducting threat research focused on nation-state, criminal, or malicious Cyber activities
- Experience with network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Experience with programming languages such as languages such as Python, C++, and Java
- Experience conducting vulnerability analyses and assessments to determine defeat options
- Experience with tools such as Metasploit, Wireshark, and Nmap
- Knowledge of software and coding
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or IT
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Nice If You Have:
- Experience using engineering research and reverse engineering to conduct analyses, physical and functional characterizations, and vulnerability assessments on foreign nuclear capabilities
- Experience with Windows, Linux, and Unix systems
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Master's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field
- Offensive Security Certified, or Professional (OSCP) or Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
