Role

Mastercard Identity, within the Security Solutions organization, leads the development of products and services that enable global commerce, powers financial inclusion, prevents crime and makes some of the most seamless experiences possible. As part of Mastercard Identity, the Identity Attribute Verification team drives the development and management of products, programs, and services focused on deterministic attribute verification. The team delivers significant value across the ecosystem, helping to combat new fraud and address regulatory requirements. Our vision is to deliver a single, rail-agnostic platform and a real-time suite of solutions.

The Director of Product Development will drive the development and execution of new, Identity Attribute verification products and capabilities around the globe. Enabling Mastercard to deliver a single, rail-agnostic platform and real-time suite of solutions that enable customers around the globe to perform identity attribute verification.

In this role, you will be leading solutioning for identified strategic use cases and new verticals with Identity Attribute Verification Suite on-behalf of services and cooperating closely with internal and external stakeholders to help deliver our key business goals. You will also:
• Partner across internal and external customers and tech vendors, develop solutions and requirements to meet consumer, customer and technical needs.
• Manage proofs of concept, pilots and early production implementations to ensure appropriate solution functionality, quality and performance.
• Establish technical and operational readiness to support scale deployments (e.g. technical documentation, test plans, customer support, delivery processes).
• Partner with technology and engineering teams on new product requirements and ensure prioritization and timely delivery of new solutions.
• Serve as product ‘ambassador’ and tech experts of Mastercard’s Identity Attribute Verification products, effectively articulating strategy, roadmap and value proposition in industry, customer and internal forums.

All About You

• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a product development role with strong data analysis, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
• Demonstrable experience in product conceptualization, design, and commercialization, preferably with technical products
• Ability to coordinate with stakeholders and influence people of a diverse range of backgrounds
• Display exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to establish credibility and strong relationships with senior stakeholders
• Comfort with and an ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment
• Working knowledge of digital payments, identity, EMVCo 3DS and security landscape is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Ability to travel up to 5%

Pay Ranges

Vancouver, Canada: $135,000 - $216,000 CAD
