About the Opportunity:We are seeking a highly skilled Firewall & Cloud Security Engineer to take ownership of both network firewall management and IAM security. This role requires deep expertise in Enterprise firewalls, along with comprehensive experience in securing cloud environments — including IAM, VPC architecture, network segmentation, encryption, logging, and compliance across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and SaaS platforms.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, developers personnel, and security professionals, to integrate security best practices. You will be responsible for implementing and managing the security of BTSE’s internal information systems’ infrastructure and processes. You will work closely with our IT and Security teams to develop security capabilities, enforce security policies, and monitor internal systems for security threats.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

• Configure, manage, and maintain enterprise firewalls.
• Design and implement security policies including ACLs, NAT, VPN, and threat prevention.
• Monitor and investigate firewall-related incidents and support incident response activities.
• Manage and improve security controls in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), including VPC, Security Groups, etc.
• Manage IAM requests across both cloud and backend systems
• Conduct regular security risk assessments and vulnerability scans, providing recommendations for improvement
• Assist in the development of cybersecurity policies and compliance audits
• Collaborate with SOC, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to enhance overall security architecture

Your Profile:

• 3+ years of experience in network or information security roles
• Proven hands-on experience with Enterprise firewalls
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, VPN, IPSec, SSL/TLS)
• Experience with cloud security controls and services across AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Solid knowledge of IAM, RBAC, MFA, and access control models
• Familiarity with security incident response, SIEM, IDS/IPS systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities and risks.
• Experience with web3 and blockchain technologies is a plus.
• Prior experience in the Financial Services domain is a plus.
• Able to effectively listen, speak, read and write in English, with Mandarin as a plus
