Training & Awareness Associate
Reporting to the Training and Awareness Lead, you will play a critical role in the Risk Program of a dynamic, Global FinTech Company. This role is responsible for the ongoing management, maturity, and performance of the Risk Culture and Awareness Program.
Your project management skills and enthusiasm for educating internal resources and applying awareness building concepts will provide tangible results in the organizations risk culture.
Your responsibilities and deliveries will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Understanding and supporting the strategic roadmaps for the Training & Awareness Program and ESG Program.
- Partnering with key stakeholders, internal customers, and subject matter experts to ensure project and / or program milestones are successfully achieved
- Assisting in the Global Risk Management’s training and awareness content enhancement to foster employee development
- Develop and administer tools to assess and measure effectiveness of programs and identify areas for improvement; implement changes to ensure and enhance program integrity
- Writing and publishing innovative Risk Awareness enterprise communications
- Creating, tracking and managing project plans and/or initiatives
- Creating presentations and collecting/preparing materials for executive committees
- Monitoring regulatory expectations and requirements to identify if training and awareness program and ESG are in compliance.
- Understanding Finastra policies and applying the concepts to awareness and training
Required Experience/Skills:
- At least one (1) year of work experience related to Project Management, Organizational Development, Organizational Change Management, Marketing, Communication, or Risk / Information Security / Compliance Awareness & Training or educational equivalent
- Bachelor’s of Arts or Sciences degree preferably in the fields of Business Administration, Liberal Arts, Communications, or other related major
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills and the ability to present to various levels of audiences from peers to executives
- Executive presence and the ability to always exhibit professionalism
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Results-driven and accountability-minded
- Enthusiasm and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing and shifting priorities
- Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and have a strategic mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting technologies (i.e. MS Teams)
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Direct experience developing, creating, editing, and/or designing awareness or training materials
- Hands-on sustainability / ESG project, education or other experience
- Experience crafting high-quality presentations and reports, conveying complex topics to several levels of management
- Experience working in financial services and/or financial technology (FinTech) industries
- Expertise with Microsoft PowerPoint, Power BI, Excel and Word
- Learning Management System (LMS) familiarity
- Hands-on Enterprise Risk Management or Information Security awareness and training experience
- Having or pursuing one or more relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), etc.
