About the role:

The Director of Information Technology will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure, systems, and strategies. This position requires a visionary leader with a strong technical background, exceptional managerial skills, and a proven track record of implementing successful IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of emerging technologies, industry best practices and a passion for driving innovation within the organization.

You may find yourself doing all of the following:

  • Developing and implementing IT strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the company's technological infrastructure
  • Leading and managing a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Collaborating with department heads to identify and prioritize IT needs and requirements across the organization
  • Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of IT systems, software applications, and network infrastructure
  • Managing the company's IT budget, resources, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective solutions and services
  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of IT systems and infrastructure, implementing improvements and upgrades as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and security protocols to protect the integrity and confidentiality of company data
  • Staying current with technological advancements and industry trends, advising senior management on potential opportunities and risks
  • Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT department

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing complex IT projects and teams
  • Strong technical background in areas such as device management, identity management, network administration, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and database management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic IT plans that align with organizational objectives
  • Experience managing IT budgets, resources, and vendor relationships

Other skills that are great to bring with you but that we can help you develop:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, PMP)
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams and projects
  • Knowledge of IT workflow and intake
  • Identity, Device, and Endpoint management
  • Familiarity with ITAM
  • ITSM experience
  • Web3/Crypto Experience
